Rwanda Transit Visa

Transit Permit | Single Entry

Rwanda transit evisa can be used only for the purpose of transiting through Rwanda. Travelers can obtain Rwanda transit Visa by completing a simple & easy eVisa application online. 

Rwanda offers is valid for Days and cannot be used for tourism purpose. Travelers can obtain approved Rwanda ETA in 2-3 days. It is mandatory for passport to be vaild for 6 months from the date of arrival.

Rwanda transit visa allows travellers to wait at the airport or stay in a hotel located inside airport area and wait for their connecting flight.   • Once eVisa is approved, remember to verify all information. Information on the visa letter should match excatly as on the passport.

Vaccination Certificate
It is mandatory have take negative PCR test 72 hours before arrival or Double Vaccination Certificate.

All applicants from eligible country can apply for Rwanda visa if they have passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of arrival. Passport must have 2 blank pages. 

In some cases Digital passport photo is required. Photo must have plain background and can be taken using phone or any camera.

Image of the bio page of the passport is required to ensure all details on the visa letter is correct to avoid issues on arrival;


Only in case of business visa, immigration team might ask for business invitation-letter or Buiness card.


Travelers will be denied entry in case they do not provide either a negtive PCR test or Vaccination Certificate.

Answer. Rwanda visa type depends on the nationality, please fill up the application to check eligbile visa type. If you wish to apply for 10 year visa, you must apply for OCI card. You can obtain OCI card by apply online with our easy platform. If you already have exiting valid OCI card, you can travel to Indai without eVisa. How can I get Rwanda Visa on arrival ?

Answer. Unfortunately, Rwanda does not provide visa on arrival. Before your trip you need to apply and obtain your visa, US citizens who arrive in Rwanda without a valid visa will not be allowed to enter. What is the Port of Arrival in Rwanda ?

Answer. Your port of arrival is the city where you will initially enter Rwanda . In case if your travel plan and port of entry has changed, you can still travel to Rwanda using the same eVisa letter. Rwanda eVisa cannot be used to enter Rwanda via road. You must arrive in Rwanda through only eVisa eligible port of entry. 

How can I apply for expidted Rwanda eVisa ?

Answer. As soon as you complete your online eVisa application, our team can process your application throught Rwanda govt  without delay however it is alwasy advised to apply for Rwanda eVisa 3 days in advance. The approval or rejection of Visa depends on Rwanda Govt and cannot be affected by any thrid party websites.  

My passport expires in 6 months, can I still apply for Rwanda eVisa?

Answer. No, it is mandatory that your passport must be valid for 6 months from date of arrival in Rwanda . You must apply for new passport in case  your passport has less than 6 months validity, You must also have two blank pages on your passport for getting the visa stam at the Rwanda airport.  

I do  not remeber my previous Rwanda visa number or travel date?

Answer. If you have travelled Rwanda preivously using eVisa and do not remember the visa details, we can help you acces your preivous evisa letter. You must also check your new and old passport for preivous visa number stamped. If you are still unable to find your preivous visa details, you can provide aproximate date, month and year of travel.

I have made mistake in application, how can amend my application ?

Answer. If you have applied for Rwanda evisa throught our online application, we can help you amend your application. You can only make changein the application if the application has not been processed yet. Once eVisa application is processed, it is not possible to make further changes.

My Rwanda eVisa letter has incorrect information ?

Answer. It is extremley important that your Rwanda eVisa letter should have details exctaly as on passport. In case if details in your visa letter does not match with passport, please contact our team. In case of incorrect information on the visa letter, you must apply for fresh application with correct information. 

What can I do if my Rwanda eVisa is rejected ?
